The story of Sønderbrogade 31
The building was constructed in 1895. At Sønderbrogade 31 stood the woodworking factory Thor, which had its headquarters here.
At its peak, the factory employed 180 people who produced, among other things, wooden furniture, construction timber, and packing crates.
In 1934, the factory closed, and Horsens Iron & Steel took over.
In 1986, Horsens Ungdomsboliger purchased part of the building and converted it into 26 student units.
